David is a professional, freelance photographer; accredited sports photographer and book illustrator - specialising in art, sport, event, commercial, candid, humour, landscape and architectural photography.
David uses Canon and Hasselblad equipment, though primarily uses EOS 5D MkIIs or EOS 5D MkIIIs for the majority of his sports and commercial work. He also uses a variety of cameras (Canon & Sony) for his candid and street photography which has been exhibited across the UK and published in several magazines and newspapers, as well as shown on BBC TV, BBC Online, various websites, Wikis and Google...
David has been taking photographs since he was 8-years old (with a 127 Bakelite roll-film camera!) and joined his Photographic Society at Chatham House Grammar School, where he began processing and printing his own work.
Having progressed [he hopes a little] since then he started taking photos semi-professionally when he carried out an amount of freelance reportage work for the East Kent Times and Thanet Times in the early '80s.
Now a professional photographer, living and working in South-East Kent, he prefers to shoot in available light.
